On a recent trip to Mexico to see her family,
a friend thoughtfully returned with
Luchadore dress-up masks for our boys.

Lucha Libre or 'free-fighting' professional wrestling was
previously unknown to us
so our boys use them more as Super Power masks.
But then...
Margaret of We Bloom Here brought me up to speed.
She was making Lucha Libre Peg Dolls !
As was Stephanie of Knitty Gritty Homestead.
Did I want to join in?
Here are my wrestlers.
Do their masks look familiar?
I couldn't resist!

I was in hysterics when my partner came up with that one. HAD to include it!
DeleteThe muscles. Oh, so awesome. This has inspired so much giggling. Giggling is good!!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Very, very good for the soul x
DeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Something different ;)
DeleteThis was fun to see. Often the airy fairy stuff does not meet boys, at least that was my experience in my Waldorf classroom.
ReplyDeleteWith two boys of my own - at school, I know what you mean. This most certainly got their interest!
Deletelovely, in a macho kind of way. Perhaps they are doing a 'pose off' against one another
ReplyDeleteA 'pose off'!!! Bwahahahahahaha :)
