This book is an absolute treasure. Kathy is a wonderful author and the story and pictures are delightful. I was very fortunate to win one of these in a giveaway last year.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing your experience, Daffodil Angel. Congratulations! I hear it truly is a wonderful book and am very much looking fwd to reading it to my little ones ♥
DeleteBeautiful! My favourite rainbow on the web is one that we made ourselves - rainbow coloured roses :) It's on my blog but I won't leave a link in case I get spam boxed!
ReplyDeleteOh they are truly wonderful Kylie! Thank you for directing me to them xx
DeleteFor anyone else reading. I typed 'octavia vicky roses science' into a search engine and came up with the direct link. I encourage you to visit ♥
Am I allowed to say your Easter rainbow photographs that you posted? I thought they were just beautiful. Looks like a beautiful book.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are Kate!
DeleteThank you for that. It's always lovely to know folk out there have been stopping by and enjoying what I do here. xx
Wonderful! Any rainbow is beautiful but the pot of gold/rainbow cupcakes that have been floating around Pinterest are quite cute.

I feel the same way, Bianca! I just love a rainbow. I'll have to keep my eyes open for these cupcakes. They sound like fun :)
DeleteAny rainbow makes me happy, but these rainbow wristies are one of my favourites right now. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! I LOVE them! You're right - they really are wonderful. Thank you for sharing x
DeleteFantastic! That sounds just perfect for our little would-be felt artisans. My boys just LOVE to needle felt Jzin. Actually, every child I've introduced it to does. How lovely to be sharing your passion with your daughter x
ReplyDeleteMy favourite rainbow online is my daughter's 1st birthday party and in particular her rainbow layer cake found on my blog here. This day was a celebration of one year of joy, love and happiness with this beautiful little girl! Rainbows represent joy and promise and happiness to me too! Is it a little strange I'd like a rainbow party for Li'l Peppa's 1st birthday in a few months! It just seems to fit! :)
ReplyDeleteI went and had a look at your fabulous party Bekka. Thank you for sharing. Very colourful! And I love the tip you give for keeping each colour of rainbow cake slices, separate x
DeletePS. Those crochet patterns for the scarf and gloves are divine!! Now I need to learn to crochet! :) Love this series A! x
ReplyDeleteThank you Bekka.
DeleteIt's wonderful to know others enjoy the rainbows I find. I'm really enjoying discovering them!
I taught myself to crochet. I used a step by step book and was rather disciplined (when my eldest son was just a newborn). One hour each night, over five nights. And then, I had it! Give it a go. Youtube is wonderful if you're a more visual learner...
Aren't rainbows delicious... the bringers of delight and newness here is my contribution .

A great way to wake in the morning is to place your hands on her heart and smile into your body... Would love to know how that is for you? Your posts are always valued.
then there is the most adorable baby wearing a beautiful "hat" in rainbow colours. And this little cherub has the most stunning eyes.

I have been over to visit your beautiful facebook page. So much love, encouragement and reassurance. Thank you for including the above words. I shall remember to do that tomorrow while snuggled in bed. x
DeleteWhat a great idea for a contest! I've been introducing my 17-month old daughter to rainbows in all their forms lately. The most recent example came in an injured bird that has graced our home: a gouldian finch. He's recovering in our house currently and has seemed in good spirits since arriving. Because of his rainbow colouring, he's brought smiles to our faces a lot lately. So, my contribution to this list is a beautiful photo I found of a gouldian finch that looks like our little joy:

They are the grass finches with the different coloured faces and yellow breasts aren't they? Spectacular!
DeleteNature provides us with so much for our eyes to enjoy!
Ah yes. Have just looked at your image they are the ones I was picturing. Aren't they incredible? Thank you x
