Gifts from nature - fridge magnets

I love to pick up and collect leaves, seed pods, bark, nuts, stones and more.

Gifts from Nature.

We put them on our Nature Table.

We make things from them - like table centre pieces, dragonflies, tree jewellery and boats.

Or I leave them around to enjoy each time I pass them.

On one such passing I considered another way to display them.

As magnets!

 

Using either craft strip magnets or earth magnets - depending on the weight of my piece to be displayed, I glued a magnet on the reverse side. 

Note - as most of these items are porous, I found aquadere (white wood glue) to be the most beneficial.

I then left them to dry for 24hours (waiting was the hardest bit!)

 

And finally, we arrange them as we like.

I know there will be additions.
