Yandina to Kenilworth

We joined some gorgeous friends of ours over the weekend.
We started our day at Yandina markets and then went on to the town of Kenilworth.
We had such a lovely day.
I say Again, we feel so blessed to live in this part of the world. Especially when it's NOT raining - there's just so much good stuff to do!

Four friends getting silly with sausages.
OR is that 4 silly sausages?
And then the Men found a 'shortcut' on the map,
rather than taking the highway...
This was a tame part of the dirt road.
We focussed on the beauty of the scenery
and tried to ignore the ditches and pot holes.
And despite not having a 4WD - we made it!
Essential visit ~ Kenilworth Cheese Factory.
Cheese tastings, bargain yoghurt and locally made icecream!
We had to have lunch at the famous Kenilworth Bakery.
Completely worth it and they even provided a special little space for the kids.
Such a brilliant playground.
Loads of different ideas to other playgrounds
we've found so far around these parts.
Just wonderful to keep the kids happy and entertained.
What did you get up to over the weekend?
