Finger Knitting

Mr Turtle has managed to avoid all of my attempts to teach him

to finger knit over the years.

So you can imagine my excitement when, a  little while ago,

he came home from school and decided to teach his little brother!

(it seems, the 'other kids' at school had taught him)

According to Mr Turtle, the method goes:

"Make your pond and catch the fish"

Ah! Simple...

 

I had never thought of him doing it on his lap, or table top.

I'd always tried the traditional method of over the finger

(well, it IS called Finger Knitting!)

So, my boys have made an anklet for me.

I love it!
