Back to School Appliqué T-shirts

Mama has begun the School T-shirts for Mr Turtle.

(He starts on Feb 4th, 2011!)

Thought I'd teach myself to sew appliqué & make his

plain tops a little more interesting (I hope) at the same time.

A handy hint when sewing a spiral.

Always start from the centre and work out.

(I learnt the hard way ~ unpick, unpick, re-sew)

(Little Pip wanted to 'try one on too')

This is now my 2nd foray into appliqué.

Again though, happily, we're both quite pleased with the outcome!
